About The Writer (It’s Fun to be Her)

Bethany Kesler is an young twenty-something who adores the written word and has an obsession with Shakespeare and Mythology that borders just on this side of unhealthy.

She loves to read and write and play roller hockey. Some of her other hobbies include passionately watching and playing soccer, coming up with new ways to pay old board games (inter-dimensional Risk for the win!), and watching war movies.

She’s a former Army brat with relatives in all the branches of the services (and yes, she really does mean *all* the services). She’s also a missionary kid from Brasil, having spent the better part of eight years there.

She admits that half of her will always belong to the pais linda (beautiful country). She’s also, admittedly a geek, her geekery stretching from history (ancient to current) to sci fi and fantasy to computers to linguistics and on.

Her interests are as varied as they are eclectic.

Currently she’s working for a couple of Real Estate Appraisers as their executive assistant/minion.   Their blog can be found in her Blogroll under Appraisal Matters, and currently she’s on the staff over at Candlemark and Gleam.  That blog can be found under Catch & Release on the blogroll.

This is in addition to being In-Neighborhood IT person, Wonder!Babysitter, and Powerpoint Gal. Also Full Time History Major (cause we’re y’know the Chosen People of God).    She has a chaotic existence, but she kinda likes it like that.

She’s got really severe allergies (allergic to grass, even), Fibromyalgia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ),  and Sensory Processing Disorder (aka Sensory Integration Disorder). She’s also been recently diagnosed with an allergy to Corn.

While all of that sometimes makes her life interesting, she refuses to let it stop her.

She’s also a Born-Again Christian, active in her church and deliriously happy that God’s got her back.  Cause life’s so much harder without him.

And this is her in a half-shell.

Oh finally, we now know the surface of Bethany. I know more, but I’m not telling. Without a large check I may!
